Say Thank You to Soldiers
This post really isn’t about animals or the environment. It is about people doing something nice for other people. The people that are receiving the nice treatment are soldiers. We hear so much in the news about all the things that are wrong. But this just seems to be a nice and right thing to do, send a thank you card to a soldier, free of charge to you.
Xerox has a website that you go to, pick the card you want to send, write out your message, add your name and home town then press send. Off it goes to a soldier serving away from home. You don’t get to pick the soldier it goes to, but what difference does that make anyway?
I am sure that all those serving who receive these post cards will appreciate them. In fact, you can read the comments from various recipients on the site and it is heart warming to say the least.
This is such a good idea, especially now so close to Christmas. So please take a minute out of your busy schedule to thank a soldier. You will be glad you did.
