We think our pets are a lot to groom? After seeing this.....not so much.
As usual, Only Natural has a great group of specials this month. Since it is flea season and our pets are also out and about more, it is usually necessary to groom them more than once during this month.

My cat gets natural grooming and in between getting baths, I use a spray that contains green tea and bergamot. Instead of spraying it on the cat, I spray it on the brush and then groom him. This gets the spray down to his skin and takes off all the loose hair. Of course, I keep wetting the brush as I groom. Grooming him this way makes him much happier than actually getting bathed in the tub and because he is calm and not at cross purposes with me, it makes me happier too. He stays smelling good and his coat gleams with this grooming ritual so I think I will be sticking with it.
As you can probably tell, I believe totally in using natural products as well as feeding natural food to my cats. That is why I am proud to be an affiliate of Only Natural Pet Store. Obese Skunk Put on Vegetables
Obesity in pets is a real problem and not just for pet dogs and cats. There are quite a few pet skunks in the United Kingdom and it seems obesity is a problem for them, too. The case in point is Mr. Bumble, a pet skunk who has a real taste for bacon sandwiches. The problem is now Mr. Bumble is twice the normal weight of a skunk. He has been put on a vegetarian diet to shed the extra weight.
We can all learn a lesson from this poor skunks story. Eat what is natural and good for you and feed your pets the same way. Sweets and processed foods are not natural for your pets just as bacon is not natural for Mr. Bumble.
Dogs and cats are carnivores. Just looking at their teeth will prove this fact. Feed them meat. Of course, prepared foods with needed extra supplements are a good thing and vegetables are okay too. Just be sure you make meat their main food. Follow Mother Nature and you won’t go wrong. There are reasons why things are the way they are in nature and if we accept that we will all be better off.
There is nothing wrong with giving your pet a treat that they especially like once in a while. But the operative words there are once in a while. Not as the mainstay of their diet. Feed them right to keep them healthy so they will have a very long life to spend with you.

April 22 is Earth Day!
I think that most people have been doing as much as is within their reach to help the environment. I personally have been lowering my carbon footprint for quite some time. So much so that I get really angry when I see companies claim to be “green” when they have actually done little to change their products or their way of packaging. Just enough to make the claim and that is all.
We all know that there is much to be done for our environment. I imagine that most people at least take a few measures and they all count. Tiny steps eventually add up to miles and miles if we just persevere.
Anyway, to get to the point, when I see a company, group or individual really support the environment with action, I will support them wholeheartedly.
I feed my pets an all natural diet and use natural supplements in conjunction with a good vet to keep them in robust health.
