Commercial Just for the Dogs
This will have to be really good to get my attention.
Does your pet dog run to the television when he or she hears certain music or programming come on? Does your pet watch with interest as some shows play? Do you have a pet that seems to just love certain television or movie fare?
For many humans who happen to be companions of a dog, these questions are no brainers. Yes, the dog likes certain programs or sports on television. Yes the dog seems to understand what is happening in the drama or comedy they particularly fancy and yes, it is really funny and cute to watch them respond to the television.
Now there will be one more thing that will have your dog running to the television, but this time it is a little different. This time it is a commercial the dogs can hear but the humans can’t. That’s right, a commercial just for the dogs.

Would you buy a brand of dog food if your pup showed interest in the product or the commercial advertising it? Nestle, one of the world’s largest pet food manufacturers is taking a chance you will buy their product, with a specially designed television commercial that only dogs can hear.
Using a high-frequency tone to grab the attention of dogs, the Nestle Purina PetCare Company is taking consumerism to a new level.
The 23-second ad, which airs on Austrian television this week for Beneful dog food, features several high-pitched whistles and pings that can barely be heard by human ears, but sound like a whistle or a fun squeak toy to a dog.
“We wanted to create a TV commercial that our four-legged friends can enjoy and listen to, but also allow the owner and dog to experience it together, said Nestlé Purina’s Anna Rabanus in a press release.
Here is a video of the commercial. Not too bad. I think humans can hear most of it. The video is in German but you can hear where the squeaks and whistles have been added.
Actually, it wouldn’t surprise me, with the number of networks available to us today, to someday see the dog channel and the cat channel etc. After all, why shouldn’t animals and pets have their own entertainment? Why not television just for the dogs?
The hard part is going to be watching the just for the dogs television and understanding what your pet wants you to buy for them or at least what they seem to particularly like.

Thunder is nine years old, but since the Epigen diet he looks and acts like a two or three year old cat again. Our vet even noticed the difference and said keep using the food because its doing good things for him. In fact she even recommends it to other patients.
I can’t guarantee you will get the same results, but I can give this food a great big thumbs up for my household.
If you are like me, you’ve tried a lot of foods that made big promises and they might have made a difference but it was hard to tell. For my cat, it was a huge difference and it came about in the first two weeks of feeding Epigen. The change was visible in that he just looked younger and healthier. He wasn’t acting like an old cat anymore and went back to chasing scraps of paper and freaking out playing with ping pong balls. I hadn’t seen him run and play so much in at least three years before Epigen.
As I said, I can’t guarantee you will get the same results but I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed in Wysong. There is a food in their product line for almost every need and they carry other products too.
I guess I am trying to say, you owe it to yourself and most especially to your dog, cat or other pet to at least check out their site and products. They carry foods and supplements for a wide range of animals, including horses and ferrets.

For the purpose of full disclosure, I must tell you that Thunder likes the chicken flavor above all others and beef comes in second. He does not like the venison at all and isn’t crazy about the fish either. What can I say, he is spoiled picky.
Only Natural Pet August Specials
We think our pets are a lot to groom? After seeing this.....not so much.
As usual, Only Natural has a great group of specials this month. Since it is flea season and our pets are also out and about more, it is usually necessary to groom them more than once during this month.

This gets the spray down to his skin and takes off all the loose hair. Of course, I keep wetting the brush as I groom. Grooming him this way makes him much happier than actually getting bathed in the tub and because he is calm and not at cross purposes with me, it makes me happier too. He stays smelling good and his coat gleams with this grooming ritual so I think I will be sticking with it.
As you can probably tell, I believe totally in using natural products as well as feeding natural food to my cats. That is why I am proud to be an affiliate of Only Natural Pet Store.
