Tell Delta to Find Paco

Once again an airline has lost a pet.  This time it is a little dog named Paco.  A Canadian couple found him while in Mexico.  They saved him from the streets,  had him treated at a vet and tried to take him home to Canada with them.  Delta Airlines has given differing stories as to what happened to Paco, but whatever happened, the dog never arrived in Canada.

According to Delta Airlines, it now seems Paco never left Mexico.  This is totally unacceptable.  Many of us travel with our beloved dogs, cats or other pets.  To have an airline lose that pet would be more than heart breaking.

Delta offered the couple a refund of the cost they paid for flying Paco with them.  The refund is in the form of a deduction in cost from their next flight with the airline.  As if anyone who had this happen to a pet would ever set foot on that airline again.  In essence what Delta has done is keep the money and the dog.

Is Paco lost somewhere in the airport or did someone take him?  Has he been stuck in a corner somewhere and forgotten, left alone to die of hunger and thirst, locked in a pet carrier?

This situation is horrible.  It is unthinkable for any pet owner or animal lover.  I can tell you for sure that my family will not even consider Delta Airlines in the future.

You can sign a petition here that is being forwarded to Delta Airlines telling them to come clean about Paco.  We want this company to either find him or tell his owners the truth about what happened to their pet.  They deserve to know.

Here’s hoping that Delta Airlines hears what we are saying and finds Paco sooner rather than later.  Time could be the difference between life and death for this little dog.  So this company should not waste it or spare any expense to find him.

Sign the petition to Delta Airlines.
