We all know that our environment is in trouble. As a species, humans are ruining things far faster than nature can replace or renew them.
Animals are the unfortunate recipients of the results of our lack of attention to our world. Plants also suffer from our pollution and inattention.
If humans were removed from the scene today, it would still take many years to erase the destruction we have caused, if the Earth could. I happen to believe that Mother Nature would find a new balance without us aand the world would go on.
But, humans are not going to disappear tomorrow, so we need to try to do as much as we can to rectify the damage we have caused. One way we can begin to help nature heal is by setting aside habitat for animals, especially those that are severely endangered. Grizzly Bears, panthers, lynx and other creatures are in a fight for their lives. Their habitats are disappearing and taking the animals food sources away.
The Sierra Club has a petition you can sign that will encourage federal land management agencies to make habitat protection from global warming a priority.
Please sign the petition. The link is below. The more signatures we have the better. Believe me, federal agencies do tend to listen when they see a lot of citizens are concerned.
So make your voice heard and thank you.
