There is a very special little girl who lives in Southern California and her name is Kathleen. She is the daughter of our friends Grant and Molly. Grant has been like another son to me for the past twenty years or so. Therefore, I can claim kind of granny status to Kathleen.
Kathleen loves animals of all kinds, but she especially loves her beautiful cat. She and her parents did the right thing and went to the animal rescue to get a cat. They ended up with the lovely Sienna. She is a very good cat and she is loved by everyone she meets. Her picture accompanies this post.
The reason for this post about Kathleen and her cat is Kathleen’s birthday. I did not get to call on the big day so I am sending this post as a belated (if only by a couple days) Happy Birthday.
I have added a video especially for you, Kathleen. I want you to know how very special both Brian and I think you are and we hope you can come to the high mountains to see us very soon.
