Bob Barker has long been an advocate for animals. You will remember him from The Price is Right and his campaign to spay or neuter pets. Now he has given five million dollars to the Sea Shepherd Society to help them in their fight against whale poachers.

Hunting and killing whales is animal cruelty at its worst. These are highly intelligent animals with a strong bond to their families. They know what is happening when their mates or children are harpooned and they mourn the loss. In the world of whales the hunters are serial killers and the Sea Shepherd people are the Gods that step in to help the whales and their families.
Unless you have been living in a well you are probably aware that one of the Sea Shepherd smaller boats was rammed and sunk at the first of the week. This interview also goes into this incident.
