Some treats or a new toy now, please! I am a cat I will not demean myself with begging. But I want it please,please,please.
Why is it the British always seem to have the sweetest and most unusual animals? Perhaps it is because, their society as a whole looks upon animals in a different way? I mean, I really cannot imagine a cat commuting on a bus in the United States, if only because the bus company would be too afraid of a lawsuit should someone get aboard who had cat allergies. No, we here in the States only seem to put up with animal adventures in the movies and not as part of our everyday life.
That being said, there is a big Tuxedo Tom Cat in England named Casper that does ride the bus and he does it on his own without an owner taking him in tow or even being aware of it until recently. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all of us could be so accepting and tolerant of our fellow critters as they make their way through their lives just like we do?
Personally, I would love to ride a bus that had cats, dogs and a variety of other animals as fellow passengers. Before you say anything, I do have allergies to animals, especially cats and no, I would not sue anyone even if I had to use up a months supply of allergy medication in one bus ride.
